Hello and welcome you will be grilled or oven roasted soon just to pre warn you. As for Alex the Kidd i cant get the theme tune out of my head. Plenty of COD players in here although Killzone and SOCOM seem to be played the most.
Do you have Burnout Paradise as a few of us still like to play that also.

I recently downloaded a version of Roland on the Ropes, that plays off my USB stick so I can play it at work!

Oh my god, it's a girl or someone in a committed and loving same sex relationship/civil partnership akin to marriage.

Quick, someone pass me the corset/girdle to bury my m00bs ;)

You're not related to Pixie and Dixie's arch-nemesis are you?

Sorry yeah Alex Kidd it was a bottle of wine later when I posted last night.

Yeah have got Burnout Paradise and was loving it but all games have given way to COD at the mo, problem is too many games and not enough time, pesky work!! :)

Thanks for the warm welcome

Hey, don't apologise, you got it right in your post. :)

I had a CPC464 not that long ago in my retro computer collection but ended up giving it away. I forgot to give the bloke the TV adaptor thing though (even though it had a green screen) so I think that's still floating about somewhere. I always felt the Amstrad machines were a bit of a poor version of the C64 back in the day but reading through my issues of Retro Gamer it looks like some of the games were actually rather good.

Where did you hear about us? Was it the advert we ran on the back of piles cream packets?

Roland on the Ropes was great though I was pretty much obsessed with the Dizzy games!! :)

I always thought the Amstrad was far better than the C64, though the C64 was more popular, so am probably completely wrong but Im sticking with Sir Alan and the Amstrad.

Have got Killzone and SOCOM but I just cant seem to get into them, I probably just havent given em a chance, my heart belongs to COD :)

In fact I heard about the OAPs in a SAGA brochure, very good ad it was too

Well I leave the hard core questions to the others, hope to see you online soon!!
