Hi from me

Postby cardinal_spawn » Thu 27 Apr 2017, 11:36 pm

Ok well first things first I'd better introduce myself.

My Names Don although for the best part of my life i have been called Doogle (think magic roundabout... ) I'm a pretty easy going chap who will do what they can to help, its a case of life imitates art in this case as i usually play healer or support type characters ingame.

Im 34 and live in Swansea but I originate from the South coast of England in Southampton, I work for BT (I know, I know!!!) which is a 5 day week thing at the moment but hey it's all good cheap broadband has to be a bonus no?

I have some RL friends in this group already one being Solonite and the other person being The Hamster-BOOM the late (and very much great Richard).

I am the founder of Team Hamster and the organiser of Hamster-BOOM "United Against Cancer Through Gaming" I have been at the front of this event and mission for just under a year however in the space of 11 months we have done two events of 24 hours non stop gaming with our next one in June. As things currently stand now we have raised just over £4,100 for Macmillan, Cancer Research and Ty Olwen. If you have any questions please ask as i'd be happy to answer them.

As for games... I LOVE Overwatch (for my sins), Huge fan of the TellTale Walking Dead Series. I love Battlefront (shout out to Solo for that one!) I enjoy the Division now and then and also Diablo 3 (PC and PS4) and have guilty pleasure in playing No Man Sky.

I think I could talk a glass eye to sleep so I shall leave this here but thanks for taking the time to read and here's to more posts in the future!

Hi Doogle and welcome to OAPs. I'll chuck you a friend invite and hopefully catch you online sometime. I'm usually playing Battlefield when I'm not chilling out in Stardew Valley. Enjoy your stay and look forward to supporting your charity stream in June.

Welcome to OAP Doogle. Great into and top work with the charitable stuff. Btw, nothing wrong with working for BT, my dad is a retired BT engineer, but they had the yellow vans when he started. Remember those!

Thanks for the awesome welcome guys!

Things are going really well with the fundraising for this year, we're now just £68 off target before even lifting a controller. we're in the process of opening a spread shirt shop to try and generate some income to keep team hamster going but all is good.

I cant wait to actually have time to sit down and kick some ass with you all.

thanks again.
