Unfortunately its worse than that. A mass shooting in America is 4 or more victims.

Nice one Manic. We finished moving last Saturday. There are still 3 rooms that look like the scene in the warehouse at the end of Raiders. I'm not sure we'll evert finish unpacking.

i'm taking the room at a time approach, apart from the missing sofa the main room is now respectable, the cds & dvds are now racked away off the floor, the computer desk is built and in the space they were occupying and I have a nice gaming chair to sit on that I can roll across the room to sit in front of the telly for the time being.
two more weeks and I can started on getting the bedroom sorted once the bed shows up and I've put it together

built a bed, 150 Kg of wood metal & mattress - hard work solo with a knackered left arm, but I won't be sleeping on the floor from tonight
now got to get rid of the packaging so I can get the bedroom tidied

see signs of the phone lines being reconnected - should be able to get a real internet connection again sooner than expected - I have even missed the shite wi-fi that I 'd endured 18 months

Glad it's all coming together mate! Hopefully the Telco don't feck it up!

looks like fibre running to the inside box they installed, today they ran some chunky cable to another new box at the point where the phone lines are gathered
sadly it looks like I'm about to get charged for my water use soon though, that's been free since I moved in 3 months ago

Today I logged into the OAP website for the first time since August. Terrible behaviour! In my defense, it takes me a long time to get off the sofa these days.

But at least you did! Much better effort than a lot of OAPs of late.
