Hotel TV hack?

Postby Kanu » Sun 27 Dec 2015, 4:28 pm

Now then everyone, I trust you had a good Christmas!

I'm stuck in a Radisson Blu hotel at standsted for 4 days from today. Like a true hero I've brought my ps4 to continue racking up deaths on battlefront..

To my surprise I've discovered that all the TVs have the HDMI port blocked (not physically). Do any of you have any ideas that could help my get through these 4 days of boredom. (PS4 related ideas! ;)

Cheers

their website says
100% GUEST SATISFACTION
Our goal at Radisson Blu is 100% guest satisfaction, which we guarantee. If you aren't satisfied with something, please let us know during your stay and we'll make it right or you won't pay.

the wi-fi is probably going to be shite anyway

The wifi speed is superb. It makes up for the fact this building blocks every ounce of mobile signal.

Their excuse for blocking HDMI is for security... I'm guessing they're worried they'll lose out on movie revenue.

HDMI being a security issue? That's a new one on me :?

Like Manic said 100% satisfaction or you dont pay. :Y:

As far as I'm concerned, this falls into that category. They have the tech, but they are blocking it. What if you had a laptop for spreadsheet and you wanted to us the TV as a monitor?
