GR vs OAP SARP Battle-Cars

Postby Mic » Sun 01 Mar 2009, 4:51 pm

Hi guys and (girls?) im sure some of you know some of us over at GR. We have had a MGO friendly once before.

So with the release of Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, im just wondering if the OAP's want to make a four man team to go against four of us over at GR?

Dates/times can be arranged to be convenient for all, obviously this type of tournament is of great importance, with the winners obviously being the most supreme Battle-Cars players in the world. So everything's to play for. :D

Let me know either in here, or over on www.GamesRelay.com

Cheers guys.

Hello Mic, how's it going?

I don't have SSARPBC myself but a couple of others here do and I'm sure one or two of them might not say no to a little friendly competition.

Hi Mic, good to see ya, some inter-community friendly competition sounds cool, I'm sure we must be able to drum a few up.

p.s. any plans for a Socom or Killzone 2 vs night? ;)

Hey Yaster, Dazzel, im not too bad thank you. Yourselves?

Hopefully we can have a few games with some of your members!

Killzone, SOCOM? There certainly coming, SOCOM isn't officially out over here yet so that's in the shopping basket so-to speak, and Killzone has only just come out, but i'll get one of our members to look into sorting a Killzone tourny out with you guys.

I have Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars but I am really bad at it. Spruijt and Acegadgets have it too as we usually play against each other. I always lose.

I could be interested if its late at night.

Got the game, had problems getting small team games started, We'll have to look into it, and get some practice in.

What about Sunday the 15th 8pm GMT? That gives both sides to get there teams sorted and enough time for practice if you want it.

If this is agreed then we can arrange the finer details of the match itself, and how long/how many.

Isn't the maximum team size 4 players? In which case not a problem at all. Will post an event for the day and time in question.

Aye it is, it's 8 players, 4v4. The demo has 1 hour 30 minutes play time but you can't join a pre-arranged team as a demo player, so you will need to make sure the players have purchased the game.

If that's ok, I shall get the event posted as well. Now a game only lasts for 5 minutes? That's going to be a quick event!

So what say we play twice on each map? that's 4 maps, swap sides each round, so 5x2x4 40 minutes, plus break in between maps, should be just under an hour?

The winners could be classed by how many rounds they have won? If it's a stalemate then we could go to a sudden death on a random map, (thought highly unlikely with so many rounds.)

Let me know if your happy with this. :)

If so, we want to see footage :Y:
