The "hot topic" - what do you want to hear?

Ever wondered what OAP members grumble about into their recordable 8-tracks? Well now you can find out. Open to all but must be registered to post.

It's not really a 'hot' topic, but it would be interesting to hear your views on game guides...

I personally find them a necessity for completing games like Final Fantasy. Some of the quests are so random you would never complete them otherwise.

But do they spoil the element of suprise? Do you think they're a waste of money ?

Maybe discuss if it is okay to buy your undies from a supermarket if you haven't actually shat your pants in said supermarket?

There can be no reason to buy your shreddies in a supermarket, unless they're the wholewheat variety.

My friend once shat himself in a patisserie, but they didn't sell pants.

Good value and bad value - over your video gaming history what's been the best value console/game and what's been the worse?

How about a top 3 games of the PS3 and why. Weve all got varying tastes, so it'll be interesting to hear what other games float peoples boats.

You could also extend this to top 3 on the PSN shop too.

GRID has gone off the boil a bit , What forthcoming racing game migt re-kindle the boy racers> DIRT 2 , Supercar challenge , N F S Shift are out in September , or would we best to wait till December and hope GT5 is out by then.
Another topic, Could IL 2 Sturmovich be the first flight combat game to appeal to the masses? Or will it fall flat like Hawx?

Not too bothered what you talk about, it's always entertaining, but any chance of making the thirteenth episode 12 hours long, should just about cover the flight to Japan. Not mentioning smoking would be appreciated too.

Oh, and not too laugh out loud funny, I'd rather drink my drink and not spit all over the passanger sitting in front of me.

Thanks.

How about a review of as many PSN releases that we can fit in. Its a real pisser that you cant download a demo for half of these, so we are duty bound to steer these fine OAPs away from steaming turds like Fat Princess and the Punisher, as well as give a good summary on some of the more obscure titles (Ive got all the Playstation Eye titles btw).

How do you cope with the approaching xmas? i.e Do you have an embargo on buying games now so that people have easy prezzy ideas for you? If you do, do you then end up with about 4 titles which you've then got to play through all at once, thus not really giving any of them the attention they deserve, or do you just carry on buying games as normal and settle for socks, hankies and stuff?

Other thoughts I had were:

Innovation and originality versus Sequels and reliability

Attitudes on piracy
