Sometimes you have to do the hard thing

Quite liberating isn't it?

Surprisingly so yes! Never resigned before from a proper full time job!

Proper nervous, a little sad as you would expect having dedicated half my life to this job, but equally excited for the future.

Cheers Peejers, I have a month to work here now as per contract but I'll let you know how the new job goes in a couple of months!

discovered the landlord of the place i'm renting has put in a planning application to redevelop the property (it got rejected 8 years ago but who knows if that'll happen again),
guess it is time to be looking to move again
kinda wished I stayed put in the other place instead of trying to get out to speed up the selling process

Went with SWMBO and Hugo to watch a play at the local theatre. It was George's Marvellous Medicine and it was for the kids. I thoroughly enjoyed it, sometimes it's nice to laugh at silly stuff and be a kid again :Y:

We watched Solo yesterday.

If Empire and Rogue One are marvellous steak meals enjoyed with an amazing red and a beautiful wife and Attack of the Clowns is a pathetic limp McDonald's hamburger then Solo is a burger from a gourmet burger chain. Nice at the time, filling and flavoury, but not something you will recall with deep affection in years to come.

I found it dreadful Manic. The only 'VR' aspect to the experience was the lounge behind you. The football screen in front is flat 2D, with the added lack of clarity coming from the obligatory 'mesh screen' the VR headset provides.
Oh & of course, only one person in the household is able to experience this shodiness!!
