Go 8 bit

Postby solo-nite » Tue 13 Feb 2018, 11:25 am

The new series started of go 8 bit last night on Dave (which will repeat this week and is on catch up on UKTV which has early access to next week's episode)

It's on Thursday 10pm and it was hilarious.

They played battlefield 1 last night on an open server trying to play tdm on their own. To be invaded by 20 online players lol,
The end large scale had me in stitches, I never laughed so much.

Well worth a watch.

I've enjoyed this since S1E1. There have been better shows than last night's but it was still fun.

I've never seen it due to not having the required Tv channel.

The current Mrs King and I went to the recording of last night's Go 8 Bit. The Battlefield bit took ages. They cut loads out of the broadcast, and it was very very funny in the studio. Dara is brilliant.

And I still don't understand what happened in the Rome game.

That would be cool to watch live. The end though with the spud game, I was in creases with Dara and the Irish jokes

Just register with SROaudiences.com. It's not listed as a current show, but they might do another series. Tickets are free (like most TV recordings) and it's recorded in Elstree.

I watched it and didn't think it was all that. It wasn't terrible, but even though I like gaming, it's not something I'd watch again. I didn't find it all that funny.

I watched Episode 1 yesterday and thought it was ok but I did fast forward a lot of it. :D

Jodie Kidd claimed to be a big Battlefield fan but she said the game had hundreds of players on a map which it doesn't. She let the fire in-game kill her rather than lying down, her aiming was all over the place and she failed to kill 1 person so I guess she wasn't a fan as much as she said. :D
